The data controller will be the operator identified in the Legal Notice. Its identity and contact details must be completed before launch. COMPARIO does not sell personal data.

2. Data and purposes

Depending on how you use the service, we may process account and contact data, contributions, photographs, receipts and evidence, moderation communications or reports, and technical data needed for security and operation.

We use these data to create and protect accounts, publish and verify contributions, prevent abuse, moderate content, answer requests and comply with legal obligations. We request only data necessary for those purposes.

3. Legal basis, recipients and transfers

The legal basis may be performance of the service, consent where required, legitimate interests in security and moderation, or a legal obligation. Hosting and technical providers access data only where necessary and under appropriate instructions.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards required by applicable law will be used.

4. Retention and data subject rights

We retain data while an account or contribution remains necessary, then only for statutory periods or to defend claims. You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent where applicable.

You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority. The channel for exercising rights will be published with the operator’s details before launch.

5. Security, AI and children

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, although no system is completely infallible. The platform does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects for users. If AI features processing personal data are introduced, this Policy will be updated before use.

COMPARIO is not directed at children where law requires a representative’s consent. Do not submit children’s data without a valid basis.

We will update this Policy when the service or the law changes. The date above identifies its latest update.
