Contributions and Evidence

Minimum data and provenance

A community contribution must identify the product or service, variant or unit, price, currency, location, date, merchant or source where available, and evidence. Provenance may be Collected by COMPARIO, Initial contribution or Community contribution. Provenance is not verification.

Evidence and privacy

Evidence may include a photograph, receipt, screenshot, link or document. Do not upload card numbers, identity documents, unnecessary personal addresses, private telephone numbers, bank data or unnecessary sensitive information.

Handling

COMPARIO may crop, anonymise, remove metadata, limit public exposure or keep a protected version where needed for verification. We do not publish internal anti-fraud rules or OCR details.
